I’m going through a pretty major change in my life right now. It’s quite the period for me. I can’t say what it is (yet), and I honestly cannot say that I have come to terms with it. In fact, I don’t think I fully understand what’s happening. I’ve been going through the motions, trying to be the positive one even though I’m the one most directly affected by it, being physically present but mentally absent time and time again, experiencing different, different things.
I don’t know if I want to come to terms with it yet, because coming to terms with it means a lot of things. So I don’t think I will — yet. I’ll give myself the time I need to be reconciled to this ‘thing’.
And I hope that if you’re reading this, you allow yourself the grace to do the same. (I wanted to say “this too shall pass” here but it seemed too cringe.)
I’ll be okay. We’ll be okay.
